Final marks

Ladies and Gents,

I have marked blogs and given each of you details on your blog as a comment, for what you need to do. 

It is vital that this is completed by the END of THIS WEEK (13th April) [any drastic emergencies, please contact me by email - shuttle@bchs.essex.sch.uk]. 

I will be marking blogs on this day and will not mark them again (I have many other important things to do!) So be warned, this will be your final mark, as sent off to the exam board, whether you change it again or not!

At the moment, there are lots of gaps and people are not fulfilling their potential. Please don't let yourselves down. 

The school will be open all week and Anstee and I will be about at some point or another (I'm in Tuesday and Wednesday). Please make the effort to complete this during this time where possible. I cannot be making exceptions (unless exceptional circumstances). If you finish something before this date and want feedback (eg. on a digipack), please email me and ask me to look at it before then.

How can I improve my blog?

- Use a wider range of technology to present your Research and Planning

- Complete research/planning on individual needs for your group - show something different to  other blogs! (ie. research into length of shots for your genre, types of hair and make-up for      
 your artists, how to take professional photos etc)

- Ensure all spelling, punctuation and grammar is accurate!

- Show reflection on all work and develop on from feedback. 

- Show detailed planning into camera shots, transitions, locations, costumes, props etc.

Assessment

Hi guys,

I know some of your blogs still need some posts to be teacher assessed, but I'm working on it.

However, once posts are teacher assessed OR peer-assessed (this should be ongoing!!) you need to ensure that you are pasting my comments into a post and labelling it 'assessment'. This then needs to be acted upon. You can reflect on it, BUT I also need to see evidence of progress and improvement from this.

It is vital that you do this. For an example, one of my year 12s has done this below - please look at it for help/guidance.

I will be expecting to see this done by the end of the week (teacher assessment being done as we speak!)
